Fiorentina in talks with Real Madrid for Jovic

Luka Jovic could make a move to Fiorentina on loan from Real Madrid, according to reports in Italy.

The striker was purchased from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2019, but struggled to make his mark at the Bernabeu.

He was loaned back to Eintracht Frankfurt for six months in 2021 and this season managed only 19 competitive games for Real Madrid, with one goal and three assists to his name.

Now Calciomercato.it claim Fiorentina are back in negotiations to sign Jovic on loan.

The two clubs have already done business together with Alvaro Odriozola spending this term at the Stadio Franchi and rediscovering his form with regular playing time.

It is hoped that Serbia international Jovic can do the same and follow in the footsteps of Dusan Vlahovic in the Viola jersey.

His contract with Real Madrid runs to June 2025, so a loan deal should not be a problem for the Champions of Europe.
