Delio Rossi believes his Fiorentina players are not mentally weak, but that they do need to work harder at playing like a team.
La Viola collapsed at home to a 3-0 defeat to Napoli on Friday night to break a run of two previous wins in the League.
However, where the side are struggling for consistency, Rossi believes it is not an issue of mentality.
“I’ve seen the game several times now, we have made mistakes but I do not see a team in disarray.

“I’ve seen the game several times now, we have made mistakes but I do not see a team in disarray.
“Against Napoli we have crumbled in performance, whilst against Lecce there had been no reaction. We have shown that we still have many ups and downs, we have to improve and become more of a team.
“We do not need a psychologist, we just need to work. The defeat against Napoli was painful, but we were not phenomenal before and now we are not asses. We play too individually, we must become more of a team.”
Rossi also acknowledged that he doesn’t expect an easy match on Tuesday, as he takes the team to Emilia-Romagna to face Bologna in Week 21’s rearranged fixture.
“The Rossoblu are earning the results they are getting. I don’t think we will find a Bologna side satisfied because they won at San Siro against Inter.
“[Marco] Di Vaio? He is a player I know well, having coached him. He has had a great career, is the classic striker who is deeply loved. His greatness is measured by the fact that he has returned to play several times.”
