Figures behind potential West Ham deal for Milan striker Origi revealed

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Divock Origi could return to the Premier League, joining West Ham for €8-10m with Gianluca Scamacca moving to Roma on loan with an obligation to buy.

Milan are listening to offers for the former Liverpool striker who scored just two goals in his first season at the Stadio Meazza.

According to Monday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (page 8), West Ham are ready to offer €8-10m to sign the Belgium international who is on the market and hasn’t travelled to the USA for Milan’s pre-season tour.

Origi earns €4m per season, so the Rossoneri would save €12m net if he leaves the club this summer, plus income from his sale.

Origi’s move to West Ham would help Roma get Scamacca on loan with an obligation to buy tied to their qualification for the Champions League in 2023-24.

On the other hand, Milan have already signed Noah Okafor to strengthen the attack, plus Christian Pulisic and Luka Romero. The latter scored a goal in Milan’s 3-2 loss against Real Madrid on Sunday.
