FIGC Commissioner Roberto Fabbricini confirms Carlo Ancelotti “likes the idea of being Italy CT and we’ll know more by the end of April.”
The newspapers today were full of reports that the Federation had met with Ancelotti in Rome and were on the verge of securing his signature.
“It was just an approach, but it seems to me he likes the idea of being Italy CT,” the temporary Federation chief Fabbricini told news agency Ansa.
“It only lasted enough time to have a coffee and we didn’t even talk about figures. He was in Rome for a family matter and will now return to Canada.
“We agreed that we’d speak again by the end of April, so let’s say that we’ll know more by that time…”
