Ferrero: ‘Cassano ruined move’

Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero reveals Antonio Cassano “ruined” a comeback to the club by “talking too much.”

It has been rumoured for over a year that FantAntonio was heading back to Marassi, but previous Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic did not seem convinced.

“I had almost made Mihajlovic accept Cassano, then he ruined it,” Ferrero told reporters at a book launch.
“He talked too much, called too many people and should’ve just been a good boy. He needs to be a good boy now too.”

The President reiterated this week that Cassano will not be joining Samp.

Following Parma’s bankruptcy and the termination of the contract by mutual consent over unpaid wages, Cassano is a free agent.
