Fenerbahce have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Morocco international Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina, according to updates from Turkey on Thursday evening.

Reports Fenerbahce have Amrabat deal

According to Sports Digitale’s Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Fenerbahce have an agreement in place to sign Amrabat from Fiorentina on a permanent transfer.

Reports earlier this week suggested that the Turkish Super Lig side were prepared to invest up to €15m in the former Manchester United loanee. An exact figure for the deal is yet to be disclosed, but Turkish reports have it at €13m.

The 28-year-old is into the final year of his contract with Fiorentina, who are hoping to sell before the close of the summer transfer window, despite the fact that he started in both of the club’s first two Serie A matches of the season.

Raffaele Palladino also picked the Fenerbahce-linked midfielder as a starter for Thursday night’s Europa Conference League play-off second leg against Puskas Akademia.
