Reports had linked the Frenchman with Crystal Palace after his agent confirmed that he was due to decide whether to leave Turin, going on to say that he has ‘always had an unconditional love for the Premier League.’

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport however, Evra may now remain with the champions until the summer.

The Bianconeri are said to be looking at reinforcements in the left-back position, with Sead Kolasinac of Schalke a likely candidate. The Bosnian will be out of contract in the summer, and Evra would provide valuable backup to Alex Sandro, should the Bianconeri decide to wait.
