Milan are reportedly closing in on signing Arsenal player Mohamed Elneny, as his father has claimed the negotiations have reached "an advanced phase”.
The Egyptian midfielder has been on loan at Besiktas this term and it’s not the first we hear of a link with Milan.
During the summer, he supposedly proposed himself available for a move to the Giuseppe Meazza and now the player’s father has revealed that the Rossoneri are in talks with the former FC Basel player.

“Negotiations between Mohamed and Milan are in an advanced phase,” Nasser Elnenly told Sada Al Balad. “But the contract hasn’t been signed yet.
“[Milan] renewed their interest in my son, and the next hours could see him sign with Milan.”
After playing 89 games for Arsenal, he was loaned out to Besiktas in September 2019 and has played 17 times since he made the move. The 27-year-old appeared in all six of their Europa League matches this term.
“Mohamed is doing well at Besiktas,” Nasser added. “But he wants to move to Milan to play in a stronger league.”
