Jonathan de Guzman finished the job as Napoli beat Trabzonspor 1-0, sealing a 5-0 aggregate triumph.
The Partenopei were confident of qualification after a 4-0 first leg victory in Turkey, which would’ve been more emphatic had Dries Mertens not missed a penalty. Trabzonspor were without Essaid Belkalem, Majeed Waris and Mustapha Yatabare, while Jose Bosingwa and Yusuf Erdogan are carrying knocks.

It took 19 minutes for Jonathan de Guzman to break through, following up Jose Callejon’s effort that was only parried by Hakan Arkan. Just before that, Callejon had also forced another save.
Fatih Atik drilled just wide, De Guzman almost doubled his tally from a smart Jorginho touch and Erkan Zengin tested Rafael.
Jorginho’s strike from outside the box was palmed out of the bottom corner and Callejon’s screamer was palmed out from under the bar.
Callejon was unfortunate not to get on the scoresheet on 71 minutes, his snapshot thumping the upright. Dries Mertens and Callejon also forced saves.
