Sampdoria forward Eder says he’s ‘bitter’ about the 1-1 draw with Empoli, but is happy to have scored his 100th career goal.
The Italy international equalised for the Blucerchiati after Manuel Pucciarelli’s opener, but felt his side should have come away with a win.
“I'm not happy, a draw leaves a bitter taste in the mouth,” he said to Sky Sport.
“In the second half we played better than in the first, but we had a very organised team in front of us that has put Roma and Milan in difficulty.

“Compliments to them, because they play nice football. They already did last year, then they continued with Giampaolo.
“After equalising we could have made it 2-1, this is football but the important thing is the reaction.
“I dedicate this 100th goal to all teams where I’ve played.
“Even though I arrived at Empoli in 2005, I started to play consistently with Frosinone in 2008.
“It's been almost eight years: 100 goals in eight years, I'm happy.
“I thank Empoli because they took me from Brazil and waited four years for me, believing in me and in my growth.
“Higuain? The scorer charts don’t interest me, last year I scored less than Icardi and Toni, but I finished ahead of them in the table – it’s the team that counts.”
