Genoa sporting director Rino Foschi has revealed that the club turned down an €11m bid from Napoli for Juraj Kucka.
The Slovakia international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Marassi at the end of the season, and the Grifone board member has admitted that they have already rejected a bid from Walter Mazzarri's side for the defensive midfielder.
“Kucka is a major player for us,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss. “Many teams want him, including sides abroad.
“I do not want to really talk about transfer rumours – now is not the time for that.
“But I can tell you that Napoli really liked the boy last year.
“It is true that they offered €11m for him. Napoli are a top club, so I cannot rule out [a deal going through].”
