Rumours about Manchester United‘s interest in Paulo Dybala are growing, and La Gazzetta dello Sport claims the Argentinean is waiting for a call from Roma to learn their long-term plans.

Argentinean sources reported a few days ago that Manchester United were interested in Roma star Dybala, and today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport quotes English sources confirming that La Joya is on the Red Devils’ agenda.

Dybala has a €13m clause for clubs outside Serie A and it will be valid for the whole month of July.

The ex-Juventus striker has a year left in his contract with the Giallorossi, but it will be automatically extended until 2026 if he collects 50% of appearances during his three-year spell at the club.

According to Gazzetta, Dybala is happy to remain at the Stadio Olimpico but is waiting for a call from the club to learn about their long-term plans. The striker is currently in Argentina with his partner Oriana Sabatini and they will get married on July 20.

Dybala said a few weeks ago that it would be “very difficult” for him to leave Serie A, although he left the door open to a potential move to England or Spain.
