Paulo Dybala said his first glorious season at Juventus “was exactly what I expected. I always knew we’d win and this way was even more exciting.”
The Argentine arrived from Palermo over the summer and struggled to settle in at first, especially with the Bianconeri trailing then-leaders Inter by 12 points at the end of October.
“It was an extraordinary season for the way we won the Scudetto and how everything developed just made it even more joyful,” Dybala told Tuttosport.

“It was an extraordinary season for the way we won the Scudetto and how everything developed just made it even more joyful,” Dybala told Tuttosport.
“It was exactly what I expected, because in my three years in Italy I had already realised there wasn’t a team as strong and as successful as Juventus. There is no other stadium that strikes fear into the opponents, just nothing like it.
“I knew that I was coming to one of the best teams in the world and that proved to be the case. No, I never regretted my decision. Never. Not even in the worst moment, when we were 12 points off Inter.
“I was aware we had made many changes, that many of us still had to understand what Juventus really was and that we had many mechanisms that needed to be refined.
“Above all, I knew it was all still in our own hands. We just had to win games… and that’s what we did.
“Now it’s all even better, as the idea of winning it with this comeback was even more exciting.”
