Dumfries: ‘Inter fought to the last moment’

Denzel Dumfries maintains Inter ‘showed a lot of character and were fighting to the last moment’ in their 2-1 win away to Lecce, while welcoming back ‘world class’ Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku had made an immediate impact at the Stadio Via del Mare, just as he had done in August 2019 on his absolute Serie A debut, finding the net from close range within 82 seconds.

The return of Lukaku has already made a difference to Inter, just one year after he walked away for Chelsea.
