While the Nerazzurri have a huge injury list, Donadoni points out he too has some problems after a shock 3-0 home defeat to Udinese.

“Gabriel Paletta is suspended, so Andrea Costa will have to replace him despite not being 100 per cent fit. He’s been out for a while and could be a bit rusty,” said the Coach.

“Will it be Ishak Belfodil’s game? Any game could be suited to him, but I will ponder the situation and make my decision.

“This has to be, above all for the strikers, a performance of hard work and sacrifice off the ball. The forwards are not only needed in the final third, but also when attacking the opposition and sparking counters.

“If we do not interpret that side of the game properly, then we’ll run into trouble whether we’re using two strikers or three.”
