A move to Napoli has been on the cards for several weeks, but the final step continues to be delayed.
“Marco is courted by several clubs and, as the transfer to Napoli is not official, I cannot say anything other than obviously they are a long way in front of the others,” agent Davide Lippi told Violanews.
“Florence represented an important step in his career, as in these years he always gave his best and I think the fans appreciated that.
“The club and player took different paths, but we wish Fiorentina the best.”
