Chievo Coach Domenico Di Carlo insists “it’s too soon” to say the Scudetto race is over, despite his side holding Napoli to a draw.
The result saw the Partenopei slip eight points behind Juventus, with this morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport openly speculating that the title race may already be over.
“I was hoping that Napoli would have less intensity after the international break,” Di Carlo explained on Radio Anch'Io Lo Sport.

“I was hoping that Napoli would have less intensity after the international break,” Di Carlo explained on Radio Anch'Io Lo Sport.
“I was expecting a lower rhythm, especially in the first half, and that’s how it went. We were good at pushing them to the flanks without letting them have the ball centrally in the attacking phase.
“The lads knew to do that tactically, and with a bit of luck and cohesion we were able to win this point.
“It’s too soon to say Juventus have already won the league, I hope yesterday’s draw will give Napoli the right motivation to qualify in the Champions League on Wednesday.”
