Mattia Destro is reportedly the key to Roma signing Mohamed Salah from Chelsea, with Fiorentina's blessing.
Salah had previously been very close to Inter, but the legal battle with Fiorentina made that course of action very risky indeed.
Instead, the Giallorossi dived in and multiple reports suggest they had their first meeting with Chelsea and the player today in London.

The Corriere dello Sport claims Salah has already given the all-clear to this move, so now the two clubs are in negotiations.
Sky Sport Italia state Destro is part of the deal, either going to Chelsea and then being loaned out to Fiorentina or directly to the Viola from Roma to get their blessing.
Roma want Salah on loan with either an option to buy or a mandatory buy-out clause.
The problem is that Destro has rejected numerous transfers this summer because he is determined to stay in Italy, specifically for Fiorentina.
He already turned down Monaco, Wolfsburg, Schalke 04 and West Ham United.
The situation could all be resolved in a very neat way if Chelsea got Destro as part of the Salah deal, then immediately loaned the Italian to Fiorentina in order to stop their legal action.
Failing that, Roma could loan Destro directly to the Viola so they'd suspend legal action blocking Salah.
