“We’ve proved that we are a squad who can fight to the very end, but this is the last chance saloon. It’s a different type of crossroads to previous matches.
“I honestly thought we could battle for safety with a better chance, but we paid a heavy price for some bad luck. Now we need the maximum effort to get out of this hole.”
Del Neri had dropped hitman Toni in recent outings, but this time veteran defender Vangelis Moras could be left out.
“We made different choices for different qualities. Toni is called up. He will certainly be angry and that’s good.”
