Gregoire Defrel is back in negotiations with Cagliari for a €16m move from Roma after talks were abruptly abandoned.
The forward spent last season on loan at Sampdoria, scoring 12 goals with two assists in 39 games between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
A deal had been practically done for €15-16m between loan and obligation to buy, but the two clubs walked away from the negotiating table yesterday.
