Palermo Coach Roberto De Zerbi says his players were too timid in their 1-1 draw with Crotone.
The Rosaneri were trailing at half-time of Sunday’s game at Stadio Adriatico but Ilija Nestorovski’s equaliser earned the Sicilian side a point against the newly-promoted team.
“In the first half we were too timid,” De Zerbi admitted to Radio Rai after the match. “In the second we played more freely.
“There is a lot to do, but there isn’t much time to do it as this is a week with three games very close together.
