It was a meaningful meeting for De Rossi as the former midfielder, now the Roma coach, has never hidden his admiration for Keane.
A few years ago, De Rossi said that the ex-Manchester United star was the only person he’s ever asked for a picture with.
“I was too embarrassed to ask to Maradona, but I couldn’t resist with Roy.”
Keane, Carragher, Wright and Neville spent the last few days in Italy for their podcast series, The Overlap, and were spotted in Turin a few days ago.
