Sampdoria coach Roberto D’Aversa believes the Blucerchiati should have won their home game against Udinese.
It was one of the most spectacular games of the season in Serie A, which ended in a 3-3 draw at the Stadio Marassi.
“It’s a shame because, after that Candreva goal, we should have brought home the full result. We are sorry for the fans because they deserved a victory,” the coach told DAZN.
“Udinese started better than us, we turned things around in the second half. We must work on our balance.”
Fabio Quagliarella scored the first goal of the season against his former club.
“Aside from the goal, he put in an excellent performance with his usual quality,” said D’Aversa.
