Danilo D’Ambrosio was officially unveiled as an Inter player this afternoon, and the defender has admitted it was easy to choose the Nerazzurri.
The full-back joined the San Siro outfit from Torino last month, and at his presentation today revealed the reasons behind his switch.
“There were a number of clubs chasing me, but I chose Inter,” he told gathering reporters.
“Inter are a big club and I know what Walter Mazzarri can offer wide players.
“Juventus? It wasn't just Juve, the best teams in Serie A were after me, but I thought Inter's project the best and most suited to me.
“Now I'm ready to do whatever the Coach asks, to play either on the left or right.
“It's not a great period, we've had some bad luck, but the squad is united and we want to win, I can see and feel it.
“I'm proud to be here and I'm sure that our work on the training ground will eventually pay off.”
The 25-year-old also commented on his meeting with owner Erick Thohir, and Hernanes’ signing from Lazio.
“It was only a few minutes but he made a very good impression on me, his words are important for the team, they help us.
“Hernanes is a humble guy who has a great work ethic, he'll be important for us.”
