The agent of Domenico Criscito has rejected rumours of the Zenit St. Petersburg defender moving to Napoli in this transfer window.
The Italian international moved to Russia three years ago but has always been subject of interest from clubs back in the peninsula.
However, his agent Andrea D’Amico, who was spotted in the stands for the Bologna-Napoli game, has maintained that the 27-year old will be staying with Zenit for the time being.
“Criscito to Napoli? I don’t think that is possible right now. In fact, I think it is a very difficult move as the right conditions do not exist at this time,” the representative told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli today.
“Mimmo is playing in a rich club, and is an important member of the team, who do not wish to lose him.
“I was in Bologna yesterday to see Napoli, the same way as I was in Verona to see them a few days ago.”
