Zenit and Italy defender Domenico Criscito “is ready to talk to Fiorentina without problems,” declared his agent.

Andrea D’Amico spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport about the rumours of interest from the Viola.

“We are ready to talk to Fiorentina without problems,” said the representative.

‘Mimmo’ Criscito has been in Russia at Luciano Spalletti’s club Zenit St Petersburg since June 2011.

It is reported Fiorentina are preparing a January offer for Criscito, including Facundo Roncaglia as part of an exchange.

The 26-year-old left-back has recently recovered from a serious injury and was ruled out of Italy’s Euro 2012 squad due to an investigation into match-fixing, though he was later cleared of all wrong-doing.

He has repeatedly been linked with a return to Serie A with interest from Juventus, Roma, Napoli and his old club Genoa.
