“I really like Lautaro Martinez and I think he’s the most technically-gifted player out of all those currently at Inter and Lazio,” Crespo told Il Messaggero newspaper.
“I am not just saying that because he is from Argentina. He has incredible room for improvement and hasn’t expressed his full potential yet. I would’ve really enjoyed playing with him.
“Lukaku and Immobile are like goal guarantees. They are very different players, but find the net with incredible regularity and that’s not easy in Serie A.
“I see Lukaku as more of a leader, so the Inter team really relies on him when they need to get back on their feet. Immobile is much more of a finisher, but he’s deadly in the box.”
Crespo spent most of his career in Italy, at Lazio in 2000-02 and then sold to Inter for one season in 2002-03.
Now a coach, the 45-year-old has just accepted a new job at Brazilian club Sao Paulo.
