Serse Cosmi admits he is disappointed to get the sack from Palermo after four games in charge.
The charismatic Roman tactician was dismissed after a heavy 4-0 defeat to Catania in the Sicilian derby.
Palermo have brought back the popular Delio Rossi who had also been given his marching orders in February.
"The thing that has hurt me the most was the defeat we suffered against Catania," Cosmi said.

"Anyway coaching Palermo was a positive moment of my professional career. I lived in a very beautiful city, which I knew already and had a way of appreciating more.
"I am angry and disappointed," he concluded.
