Corvino: ‘No Viola return for Jovetic’

Fiorentina Sporting Director Pantaleo Corvino has ruled out a return to the club for Inter striker Stevan Jovetic.

The Viola had tried to secure a deal in the summer for the Montenegrin forward, but the move fell through as Inter refused to contribute to the player’s wages.

“Jovetic? We can’t make this kind of deal,” Corvino told Radio Toscana. “In attack, we are almost complete.”

The 66-year-old, who is in his second spell at the Tuscan club, also spoke about the situation with Milan Badelj after his agent has repeatedly tried to engineer a move away.

“The words of the agent of Badelj are unacceptable, the former Bologna DS continued. “The player doesn’t even agree with him.”
