Several auctions failed to attract a buyer for the club, but today a judge ruled that negotiations could begin for a private sale.

“Viris and Uni Gasket confirm their interest to proceed with negotiations,” the statement began, also claiming to have submitted their plans to the administrators on May.
“At its base is a project which has the primary objective of keeping the club Parma Calcio from dropping down to Serie D, a program to ensure the future development for the business and in terms of sporting results as well as allowing supporters of this glorious team to continue to support their team in the field of professional football.”
