New Chievo Coach Eugenio Corini is excited at replacing Domenico Di Carlo. “I feel ready to take this great opportunity.”
The former Flying Donkeys midfielder was called in after Di Carlo oversaw five consecutive Serie A defeats.
“I feel ready to take this great opportunity offered to me by the club. My intention is to transmit competence, enthusiasm and motivation to the squad,” he told the Chievo website.
“Those are all components that belonged to ‘my’ Chievo when we reached Serie A in 2001.”
Corini will have Primavera youth team boss Paolo Nicolato as his assistant manager, Salvatore Lanna the new consultant and Alessandro Vitrani the goalkeeping coach.
