Coppa Italia: Latest team news for Milan-Atalanta

Matteo Gabbia is expected to start for Milan against Atalanta in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals tomorrow, but Charles De Ketelaere is not fully fit for La Dea.

Milan and Atalanta meet at San Siro on Wednesday in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals.

As reported by Sky Sport Italia, there will be over 50,000 fans at the Stadio Meazza.

Stefano Pioli is expected to rotate, resting Olivier Giroud and Simon Kjaer, so Gabbia and Jovic will start. Alex Jimenez is favourite to start as a left-back as Alessandro Florenzi sustained a minor injury against Empoli on Sunday.

Former Milan striker De Ketealere is not fully fit and the same is true of Sead Kolasinac who will be assessed on Wednesday morning before Atalanta’s trip to Milan. Nevertheless, Gian Piero Gasperini said at a pre-match press conference on Tuesday that both players could be involved against the Rossoneri.

Isak Hien will likely start in central defence if Kolasinac is rested. The former Hellas Verona defender made his debut with La Dea on Sunday against Roma.

Gianluca Scamacca is expected to start in attack with Mario Pasalic and Teun Koopmeiners behind the Italy international.

Michel Adopo, El-Bilal Touré, Hans Hateboer, Rafael Toloi and Ademola Lookman are not available for La Dea.
