Christian Vieri will run an Instagram Live stream before the game, during the interval and after the final whistle.
The empty stands of the Stadio Olimpico will be filled with a lightshow allowing for digital supporters and their fan choreography to still be present.
This is the first trophy to be assigned in world football since the lockdown, but there won’t be the usual ceremony to hand over medals and silverware.
Instead, they will be picked up by the players themselves, left on a table in the centre-circle.
