This should’ve been an occasion for the Orobici to celebrate, as they fought back from a goal down to beat their Lombardy rivals 2-1 with the last kick of the game.
Instead, Colantuono found himself faced with footage of a banana thrown from the stands in Bergamo at Milan full-back Constant.
“It was an isolated incident that ruins what should’ve been a day of celebration. It doesn’t deserve any comment,” Colantuono told Sky Sport Italia.
“It was a great victory and I am happy with the win, especially as Franco Brienza scored. The people of Bergamo have only seen the real Brienza on occasion, but he is a player of great quality.
“Now we can target a new club record of points in a single Serie A season. There’s one round to go and that is our objective.
“Our season has certainly been positive and we can say that we won our Scudetto.”
