“Cagliari are a dangerous outfit, above all away from home, and they have a strike force that is definitely worth our respect,” said Coach Colantuono.

“We must take the initiative, but at the same time be focused so we don’t concede on the counter-attack with players like Marco Sau and Victor Ibarbo.

“We must continue to play, as even against Lazio I saw good signs despite the result. By repeating these performances, the results will have to come eventually.”

Colantuono also revealed the decision to go into an early pre-match training camp – ritiro – was made by the players themselves.

Carlos Carmona and Cristian Raimondi are suspended, joining the injured Stefano Lucchini, Ezequiel Schelotto, Giampaolo Bellini, Daniele Capelli and Guido Marilungo.
