Now Calciomercato is reporting that representatives of City will meet with officials from Juventus in Turin later today to discuss the possibility of a transfer.
The website states that the player’s agent Mino Raiola could also attend the meeting, as a 'bridge' between the two parties.
Manchester City are in Italy to face Roma in the Champions League, and the site believes that the Citizens have used this opportunity to try and tempt Pogba to England.
Calciomercato says that a deal will not be completed in January, but is possible in the summer if the Premier League side are willing to stump up around €60m.
