Italian newspapers confirm Liverpool’s interest in Federico Chiesa, but according to Corriere dello Sport, the Italian winger has already spoken to Barcelona coachì Hansi Flick.
Chiesa is expected to leave Juventus this week as the Italy international is not part of Thiago Motta’s project at the Allianz Stadium.
The 26-year-old is training separately at Continassa, waiting to join a new club.
Barcelona emerged as a credible contender for Chiesa last week, but Fabrizio Romano reported on Monday that Liverpool had also asked for information.

Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport, and Tuttosport confirm that the Reds are interested in Chiesa. However, no offer is currently on the table for the Bianconeri. Gazzetta says that Chiesa would be glad to join the Reds this summer.
Barcelona remain in the race, but they must reduce their wage bill before sending a formal offer to the Italian winger and Juventus.
As per Corriere dello Sport on page 13 on Tuesday, Chiesa has already spoken to Flick, but whether the Catalans can finalise the deal in the coming hours does not depend on their new coach.
