Reports claim that Juventus and Inter are working on a sensational exchange deal that would see Federico Chiesa and Davide Frattesi swap places.

The Bianconeri are serious about cutting the 26-year-old Italian winger this summer, made apparent by coach Thiago Motta’s recent statements, and are desperately trying to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year.

Napoli and Roma were linked with Chiesa, but both decided to focus on alternate targets, limiting the winger’s options in Italy. His agent Fali Ramadani flew to London for talks with Chelsea and Tottenham, but neither have come forward with a concrete offer yet.

Chiesa for Frattesi?

Page 16 of today’s Tuttosport details how Inter have already been keeping a close eye on Chiesa for a while now, interested in the idea of snapping him up on a free transfer next summer, but now talks have developed with Juventus.

An idea involving a swap deal for Frattesi is quickly taking shape and would see the Old Lady include a cash fee of around €10m in addition to the winger. The deal would seemingly suit both parties, with the Nerazzurri man being an alternate option to Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners.
