Cellino sells Leeds for Parma?

Massimo Cellino is in negotiations to sell Leeds United, and there is speculation he could be interested in Parma.

The former Cagliari President took over at Elland Road in March 2014, but was later barred from playing any role at the club by the Football League.

Cellino has already announced that he will not return to Leeds when his ban expires this month, and Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that his company is in the process of selling the controlling interest in the club.

Cellino has already announced that he will not return to Leeds when his ban expires this month, and Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that his company is in the process of selling the controlling interest in the club.

The site confirms that Eleonora Sport are in negotiations to sell the club, and there are rumours the controversial patron could take over stricken Parma.

The Ducali have been declared bankrupt, and will be forced to restart from the amateur divisions next season if their €74m sporting debt is not paid.

While Di Marzio states that while Cellino has denied any interest, his family is very keen to return to Italian football.
