Cagliari’s Massimo Cellino has claimed that Ezequiel Lavezzi’s transfer from Napoli to Paris Saint-Germain has been completed.
The outspoken President says that he met with Nasser Al-Khelaifi this week, and that the PSG President gave him an exclusive update on their plans to sign the Argentine talisman from the Partenopei.
“Yesterday evening I met with PSG’s President and he told me that they have signed Lavezzi,” Cellino told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“I met him in Miami and he’s a very nice person. I congratulated him and said he is building a great team.”
Cellino then turned to discuss his own club again, amid rumours of a number of players being linked with departures.
“I’m thinking about the stadium, there is currently nothing going on in the transfer market as a result, including with Radja Nainggolan. I’m not aware that Napoli want him and I have already refused some big offers.
“I have not spoken with Aurelio De Laurentiis about Davide Astori, I’ve not heard from Aurelio in a while.
“Victor Ibarbo? Right now he is in Colombia, but he will remain at Cagliari, there is no doubt.”
