“On a personal level, it’s certainly exciting to be in the starting XI, as it hadn’t happened for a long while and I’m happy,” Cataldi told Lazio Style Radio.
“We have to win today so that we can get back on track after the defeat to Inter last Monday. We’ve got to give our best to achieve three points against SPAL.
“We analysed SPAL carefully and saw how they approach the game, especially on the counter-attack, as they are very dangerous down the flanks.
“Lazio have always put in good performances, but at times we got distracted and in other situations there were some decisive incidents that went against us.
“I trust Lazio will return to winning ways from today.”
