Roma defender Leandro Castan has been allowed to return home after brain surgery to remove a cavernoma.
The Brazilian went under the knife on December 3 after a cluster of abnormal blood vessels were found in the brain.
“Leandro Castan is recovering well from his operation and today left the clinic to go home, where he will begin a period of rehabilitation,” read today’s latest statement.
“A CT scan has revealed the cavernoma has been completely removed.
