Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali excluded a move for Giacomo Raspadori and Gianluca Scamacca this winter. ‘Our will is to keep them’.
The Neroverdi CEO was asked about the future of the young stars at the club, amid rumours of interest from the giants in Serie A.
Carnevali revealed Inter are interested in Italy international Raspadori but stressed there are no possibilities of selling the player in January.
“Raspadori is an important player for us,” Carnevali said at the Sports Festival in Trento, organised by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Inter are interested, but our will, especially for you players like Raspadori and [Gianluca] Scamacca is to keep them with us.
“There’s no chance in January, neither for Inter nor other clubs. Talking about June, on the other hand, it’s still early.
“It’s clear that we are a club that must take into account the economic result too.”
Raspadori has scored once in seven Serie A games this term and the 21-year-old is currently on international duty with the Azzurri.
Scamacca, who returned from at stint on loan at Genoa, has yet to score in the first seven games, but has not started any games so far.
