Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali says there are offers for Domenico Berardi, Jeremie Boga and Manuel Locatelli, but that the club “wants to stay in Serie A.”
The Neroverdi are coming off the back of a 4-2 home win against Roma last weekend, in which Boga scored the goal of the game, and Carnevali reveals that there has been offers for the 23-year-old.
“I think he’s a phenomenon, he has great qualities. We signed him from Chelsea thanks to our scouts and we instantly saw his quality,” Carnevali told Radio Anch’io.

“He has enormous qualities and he is doing extraordinary things.”
Carnevali then revealed that other members of the Sassuolo squad have also received offers.
“Berardi, Locatelli and Hamed Traore have all had offers. Our desire is to build a Sassuolo that can continue the journey, we have been in Serie A for seven consecutive years and the club wants to improve even more.
“We want to keep them but it is needless to hide that requests and offers will arrive.
“We will make decisions by talking to the players.”
The club’s owner Giorgio Squinzi passed away last October, and Carnevali says that the club’s ethos will continue as he wanted.
“The loss of Mr. Squinzi and his wife has been devastating for us but the family has the will to continue what the parents started”
Berardi has been at Sassuolo for seven years, and has been constantly linked with moves away from the club, but has so far stayed put.
“I hope he stays. He is becoming a bandiera for Sassuolo and we are happy with him. There are always requests, but we’ll see. I would be happy if he stayed.”
