Napoli’s Paolo Cannavaro says he’s not bothered about continually being ignored by Italy boss Cesare Prandelli.
“There is no sense of regret that I keep being excluded,” the centre-back told Radio Marte.
“To be honest, I don’t even watch the Italian national side anymore. I haven’t since my brother Fabio stopped playing for them.”
Cannavaro, now 31, has never been selected by Prandelli despite being a regular in the Napoli defence over recent years.
Cannavaro has only been called up to the Italy set-up on one occasion, back in October 2007. He was selected by boss Roberto Donadoni for the friendly against South Africa, but he didn’t play.
