Even the confirmation of Stefano Pioli as coach might not be enough to convince Calhanoglu to remain at San Siro.
It’s reported a return to the Bundesliga is the most likely next step, with RB Leipzig and Hertha Berlin making their interest known for several months.
So far this season, Calhanoglu has contributed nine goals and eight assists in 35 Milan games between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
However, the player himself responded to the rumour with a message on his Instagram Stories: 'Too much fake news in the papers today.'
