Gigi Buffon will stay at Juventus and is on course to make his comeback in January, according to his agent Silvano Martina.
The 32-year-old's future was the subject of much speculation last week when it emerged he had not turned up for an official team photograph.
Juventus boss Gigi Del Neri also drew attention to the fact he had not visited the club's training ground nor gone to see any of the team's games this season.
Buffon is still recovering from a back operation he had after the World Cup finals in South Africa this summer.

Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta met with Buffon's agent this morning, adding yet more intrigue to the affair.
Interviewed on calciomercato.com, Martina said: "Marotta and I have known each other for 40 years, so we are always talking.
"I don't just manage Buffon at Juventus, but Davide Lanzafame also."
When asked about the media circus surrounding Buffon's absence at a team photo shoot, Martina said: "He is a very good lad and is continuing his plan of recovery in perfect harmony with the medical staff.
"His return is therefore confirmed for January. Gigi is coming off a big injury. I will go and see him this afternoon."
