“There is some progress,” he told Rai Sport. “I saw improvements tonight and we soon want to get back to being protagonists.

“There is some progress,” he told Rai Sport. “I saw improvements tonight and we soon want to get back to being protagonists.
“We’ve got some important players back from injury and are slowly understanding who we are this season. Games like this are reassuring, but we are still too far behind in the table to feel relaxed.
“We are working on different systems with the Coach. The plan is to climb back up and reach March in a position that allows us to challenge for the top spots.”
Buffon was limping during the game and required treatment to his right calf.
“It’s a bruise and I was basically on one leg for 65 minutes. I’m glad that I managed to finish the match.
“We’ll see about playing in the Champions League on Wednesday, but if not then Neto is ready to take over.”
