Brocchi takes over Milan Primavera

Milan have confirmed that Pippo Inzaghi’s vacated spot with the Primavera side has been filled by former midfielder Cristian Brocchi.

The 38-year-old retired from the game in 2013 and returned to San Siro to head the Under-16 Allievi outfit.

On from seeing colleague Inzaghi’s promotion to the senior squad confirmed yesterday, Brocchi has now had his bump up to Inzaghi’s former post with the Primavera side also made official.

“Cristian Brocchi will be the Coach of the Milan Primavera for next season, after doing very well this year with the Allievi I-II,” read Milan’s brief statement on the news released today.
