The Palermo stopper has been associated with a variety of clubs this summer and the Rossoblu have been strongly linked.
"There is nothing between Genoa and Bovo," agent Franco Zavaglia made clear. "There has never been anything between them."
Bovo, 28, is a product of the Roma youth academy. He's been at Palermo since his 2008 switch from Genoa.
